Stateside Pick of the Week:

Lindsey Saunders- Colorado

Nothing Normal- EP
Genre: Singer-Songwriter Indie

Lindsey Saunders  is a Taylor Guitars Artist Partner (May 2014), with notable performances  at events such as the Sundance Music  Fest, Boulder International Film Fest, Durango Songwriters  EXPO, SXSW, and CMJ Music Marathon.  On her debut EP release “Nothing Normal” she collaborated with the likes of  Lisa Harriton (Smashing Pumpkins), Jason Ganberg, Gayle Day, Ido Sasson, and Alex Balderston   Saunders has received critical acclaim for her work being noted as a “triple threat musician” because of her skills as a vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist.
The instrumental release “Miles Before Sleep” was released November 4, 2014 .  Vastly different from her indie pop debut in 2012, her talents shine as a composer in her own right.  Geared towards the classical guitar listeners, the four movements were born out of Catherine Tiso’s contemporary dance Diverge/Connect (2013 – Chicago).  The composition has received worldwide reviews as a classical crossover hit.

Tramps & Thieves- Arizona
Special Band Announcement European Tour Autumn 2015!
Genre: Rock/Indie/HippieBlues

Tramps & Thieves has been called: “A Country Folk Rock band with an Outlaw Hippie Attitude” Tramps & Thieves is made up of dual lead singer-guitarists J. Scott Howard and Emmett DeGuvera, bassist Andy Jensen, and drummer Scott Seymann.
With their unique southwestern sound, Tramps & Thieves has been a cherished staple in the Arizona music scene since 2001. The band has just released their fourth independent release called Galloping Hearts. It is the follow up to their previous efforts Mill Ave. Cowboys, Spittin’ Into the Wind, and Perennials. Tramps & Thieves continue to play to packed audiences around the Valley and state wide, including shows with Jason Isbell, The Gin Blossoms, Dead Hot Workshop, Shurman, The Pistoleros, and Arizona’s other treasured rock band, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers.

Tramps & Thieves remain one of the few Arizona bands that release authentic, independent music. Fusing rock n’ roll with alternative, folk, americana and country music, Tramps & Thieves have developed a sound that fits in well in the southwest. Taking their name from the hit, "Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves," Tramps & Thieves count Tom Petty, The Black Crowes, The Jayhawks, The Band, Wilco, Ryan Adams and others as influences. If they sound familiar, you might have heard their hit, “Porcupine Jacket,” in the 2008 teen comedy major motion picture release, Sex Drive.

Although they are based in Tempe, AZ, Tramps & Thieves are a band committed to making their way to as many people and places as they can. They are currently booking a European Tour for September of 2015. For more information including booking, please You can also follow them on twitter at, or find them on facebook at www.facebook/tramps&thieves. But the best way to see this band is where they are most comfortable, on stage, so make the time to get out and support live music!
