The experimental funk-rock masters of
Backup Planet make vintage sounds current. The Nashville-based band
is comprised of members Ben Cooper, Chris Potocik, Gavin Donati, and
Blake Gallant. Backup Planet’s fun groove has landed them on many
festivals throughout the summer—Bonnaroo, Terrapin Hill, Tumble
Down, Birds of a Feather, and the Great Outdoors Jam—to name a few.
During this Bonnaroo interview, the band talks about what make makes
its homebase so great and what is currently influencing its work.
