The topic of the podcast was surrounding the subject of ‘Where do ideas come from?’ [It] discuss[ed]… that ideas were never really ours, to begin with. I thought the concept was fun and applied it to demonic forces penetrating our reality through ritual and mind.”

Founded in 2014, Graveslave has long been a mainstay and driving force in the Midwest metal scene. Known for their breakneck speed, technical songwriting, and outrageous music videos, Graveslave has been providing mosh pits and windmills to crowds since inception. After cutting teeth on progressively bigger DIY tours and high-profile one-off shows, the band landed a dream spot opening for death metal legends Origin on their 2018 Unparalleled Universe EU tour, with Rings of Saturn and Hideous Divinity. Although the tour was a blast, tragedy struck shortly after their return, in the untimely death of vocalist Doombringer. Down but not out, the band collected themselves and released the furious 2020 Devotion EP with a new lineup and tour dates, only for covid to wrack the entire music industry and cancel any plans for a tour. Now, a year later, with a new record in the wing and shows on the horizon, Graveslave is poised to hit harder than ever.
